Officially? Environment Canada says that is we are waiting for summer to start, to stop- cuz it's not going to happen. BC and Alberta will continue to experience bullshit rain and cold temp for the month of August as well...luckily for me, my family is off to Kauai in a couple days!
House is coming along swimmingly- base boards, trims and doors are up, primer is on the walls, and the ceilings are done. Spent the last few days trying to decide which way the exposed beams will run...a designer could likely choose asapy like but I had to think....my first gut thought was to run them along the windows then started to second guess, but going with the original placement- lengthwise, and probably the best way to elongate the room.
Paint woes are not so much anymore- I've narrowed it down to a possible 2 colours in the master room and unless it looks like vomit once I paint a sample on the walls, I've also got a primary colour for upstairs.....
